Apply for the Agriculture sector jobs on the government website ‘Kisan Vikas Mitra Samithi’ (kvms.org.in) by paying the submission fees
Publisher’s rating: FALSE
The claim concerns an offer of agriculture-sector jobs on kvms.org.in, presented as the government website of “Kisan Vikas Mitra Samithi,” with applicants asked to pay a fee. FACTLY’s investigation says the site listed posts including Agriculture Field Surveyor, Agriculture Officer and Agriculture Security Assistant, and requested 500 rupees for each post. Its conclusion was that the site was not a government website and that its recruitment offer was dubious. The review gives several specific reasons for that assessment. It says the site used an “.org.in” domain, whereas the cited Guidelines for Indian Government Websites require Indian government sites to use “gov.in” or “nic.in.” It also found a mismatch between the site’s Hindi name and its English department heading, and says it found no information about Kisan Vikas Mitra Samithi on the original Agriculture department website. The payment request was considered alongside the Ministry’s stated recruitment procedure: the review quotes the Ministry as saying recruitment is carried out mainly through the Staff Selection Commission or Union Public Service Commission. It also reports a date inconsistency: the notice was published as 20 September 2020, while one job title referred to a 2019 recruitment. The review says the same page link had appeared on Facebook in August 2019, suggesting the notice was not a straightforward new 2020 recruitment.
"He [Trump] has caused the deficit with China to go up, not down"
Publisher’s rating: This is not quite right. After rising in 2017 the trade deficit with China - the gap between imports and exports - fell sharply after 2018, following tariffs imposed by Washington on Chinese goods.

Employees unable to work in tier 3 areas will get a combination of Job Support Scheme and Universal Credit, which will mean they get 80% of their wages.
Publisher’s rating: While that will be the case for some workers, especially those on very low incomes, some workers will get less than 80% under the new scheme.
The review examines whether combining the Job Support Scheme (JSS) with Universal Credit (UC) would ensure that employees unable to work because their businesses were closed in tier 3 areas received 80% of their usual wages. The distinction is between workers for whom UC makes up the difference and those who do not qualify for UC, or receive too little for the combination to reach 80%. The review notes that the earlier furlough scheme paid 80% of wages up to £2,500, while the replacement JSS was set to provide 67% of normal salary up to £2,100 a month. Eligibility for UC depends on individual circumstances, including income, savings and whether a worker has children. The review reports that the Department for Work and Pensions said people on low incomes receiving their full UC entitlement would receive at least 80% of normal income. But the prime minister’s formulation left out people who receive no UC or only part of it. As an example, the review cites an Institute for Fiscal Studies calculation: a single homeowner with no children earning £11,000 a year would receive some UC on the JSS but end up with 73% of usual income. Workers with £16,000 in savings would not qualify for UC, the review says, and so would not reach 80% through this combination.

"GDP is going through the roof."
Publisher’s rating: The latest numbers show a record fall in GDP during the pandemic. However the next set of figures, due out at the end of October, are expected to show a record increase.
Trump made the statement during a town hall, while the latest available U.S. GDP data covered April through June 2020. The review assessed his claim against those published figures, rather than treating an anticipated rebound as if it had already occurred. It reports that the economy contracted by more than 30% in that quarter, describing the decline as larger than the previous record fall of 10% in 1958. The timing is central to the assessment: figures for July through September had not yet been released. The review said they were expected to show record growth, but also cautioned that the increase would not recover the losses sustained during the pandemic to that point. Thus, an expected sharp rise in the following quarter did not mean that GDP was already “going through the roof” in the latest reported period, or that the economy had regained its lost output.
