Die mRNA-Impfung ist quasi Genmanipulation.

Publisher’s rating: Die mRNA-Impfung stellt der Zelle einen Bauplan für ein Virusteil zur Verfügung. Auf dieses bildet sie dann Antikörper, die dann vor dem eigentlichen Krankheitserreger schützen. Das nachgebaute Teilchen befindet sich dabei zwar in der Zelle, aber nicht im Zellkern, wo unsere DNA liegt. Daher wird die Erbinformation durch eine Impfung nicht verändert.

Die Corona-Impfung macht unfruchtbar.

Publisher’s rating: Es gibt keine einzige wissenschaftliche Studie, die diese Behauptung stützen würde. Tatsächlich wurden während der Impfstudie von Pfizer sogar mehrere Frauen schwanger, wie woman.at berichtet. Trotzdem taucht das Gerücht, Impfungen würden zu Unfruchtbarkeit führen, immer wieder auf. Zu letzt zum Beispiel im Falle der HPV-Impfung. Für diese Impfung wurde die Behauptung bereits widerlegt.

Publisher’s rating: Im schlimmsten Fall bringt die Impfung nur eine kurzfristige Entspannung der Situation. Trotzdem könnten damit die Fallzahlen massiv gedrückt werden. Die Todeszahlen würden sinken und die Spitäler stark entlastet. Und es ist keinesfalls erwiesen, dass eine Impfung nach einigen Monaten ihre Wirkung verliert. Zudem gäbe es die Option einer Auffrischimpfung.

Als Beleg für die angebliche Gefahr von Impfungen gegen das Coronavirus wird in sozialen Netzwerken das Video einer Krankenschwester aus den USA verbreitet, die vor laufenden Kameras die Injektion erhielt und kurz darauf zusammenbrach. Die Behauptung, unter anderem auf Facebook (hier archiviert): «10 Stunden später ist sie tot.»

Publisher’s rating: Falsch. Der Krankenschwester wurde nach Angaben ihrer Klinik schwindlig, sie verlor demnach aber nicht für längere Zeit das Bewusstsein und starb auch nicht.

The review examined a social-media post claiming that Imran Khan had said Pakistan would never share a COVID-19 vaccine with India or Israel if Pakistan developed one. It reports that the post attributed the statement to Khan and that the fact-check found the attribution unsupported: “இந்தியா அல்லது இஸ்ரேலுக்கு கோவிட் -19 தடுப்பூசியினை கொடுப்பது குறித்து பாகிஸ்தான் பிரதமர் இம்ரான் கான் எந்த அறிக்கையும் வெளியிடவில்லை என்பதே உண்மை.” To check the attribution, the review says it contacted Waleed Tariq, identified as a former news editor at Pakistan’s Express Tribune. Tariq said Khan had made no recent comments about coronavirus vaccines and that there was no information that Pakistan was trying to develop one; he described Pakistani officials instead as negotiating with multinational companies and China, whose vaccines were being tested in Pakistan. The review quotes him: “உண்மையில், அவர் (பிரதமர் இம்ரான் கான்) சமீப காலங்களில் கொரோனா வைரஸ் தடுப்பூசிகளைப் பற்றி எந்த கருத்தும் கூறவில்லை.” The article also placed the claim against reporting on Pakistan’s vaccine activity. It cites a Dawn article published December 21, which it says reported that a Chinese vaccine trial involving 18,000 volunteers was expected to finish that month, with preparations for another trial to follow. It further states that Pakistan had increased funds for purchasing vaccines and made agreements with multinational companies. Those details describe procurement and trials, not evidence that Khan made the quoted pledge. The review’s conclusion is that the viral post’s attribution was false.

In der Corona-Pandemie kommen neben PCR-Tests verstärkt Antigentests zum Einsatz, die deutlich schneller ein Ergebnis zeigen. Nun soll der österreichische FPÖ-Generalsekretär Michael Schnedlitz mit einem Experiment im Nationalrat bewiesen haben, dass diese Tests stark fehlerhaft seien. In den sozialen Medien wird derzeit das Video des Politikers geteilt, der mit einer Cola-Probe einen scheinbar positiven Test erwirkt. «Cola ist Corona Positiv (sic!)», schreibt eine Facebook-Nutzerin (hier archiviert) über den Vorfall. In einem weiteren Kommentar heißt es über das Infektionsgeschehen: «Die Zahlen entstehen aufgrund des Coca Cola- Test! (sic!)»

Publisher’s rating: Der Test liefert kein technisch korrektes positives Ergebnis, wenn man Cola aufträgt. Die säurehaltige Flüssigkeit zerstört die Struktur der Proteine und macht so die Linien auf dem Test sichtbar. Beim Versuch im österreichischen Nationalrat wurden zudem wichtige Arbeitsschritte nicht beachtet.

The claim arose from a demonstration by Austrian FPÖ Secretary-General Michael Schnedlitz in the Nationalrat, in which Coca-Cola was applied to an antigen-test strip and visible lines were presented as evidence that the test was unreliable. The review also notes social-media posts using the demonstration to suggest that Cola could produce positive results or explain infection figures. It examined how the strip works and whether the demonstration followed the tests’ instructions. According to the review, the test’s membrane has a control line and a test line coated with proteins; those lines become visible when a reaction makes them show color. The review cites the Roche test instructions and an explanation from Siemens Healthineers diagnostic-testing lead Christoph Pedain: Cola’s acidity can alter or damage proteins on the strip, exposing binding sites for the test’s colored particles and making the lines appear. Thus, the visible lines in this demonstration did not establish that the test had detected a virus. The procedure also omitted a required preparation step. The review describes Siemens instructions published by the Tyrolean Medical Association: the swab sample is first mixed in extraction buffer, with the swab turned in the buffer at least six times and left for one minute before the liquid is applied to the test. It says Roche tests likewise do not permit direct application to the strip. In Schnedlitz’s demonstration, Cola was put directly onto the test, bypassing the buffer step that would reduce the effect of its acidity. The experiment therefore did not show that correctly performed antigen tests produce a technically valid positive result from Cola.
