The review examined a web promotion that used an apparently official Lidl logo to offer a chance to win E-Scooters, although its web address began with “rossmann.website.” After visitors answered questions, they were redirected to another page and asked to provide personal information. The review’s conclusion is that neither Lidl nor Rossmann ran this giveaway. The investigation describes checking the promotion’s own pages and their stated affiliations. The first page’s small print attributed the giveaway to Bluereen LTD, while the page’s “Impressum” link opened a blank field. After the quiz, the second page used an address beginning “ecityroller.1a-gewinner.de” and named CEOO Marketing GmbH as the organizer. It no longer mentioned Lidl or Rossmann. These details contradict the apparent association created by the Lidl logo and the Rossmann-named address. The review also places the promotion in a broader pattern: it says Rossmann had previously been impersonated in another fake giveaway and that Lidl’s logo had also been misused for such promotions. It reports that Rossmann advised customers to ignore false giveaways and fraudulent requests and not to disclose personal information such as bank details. The excerpt does not establish who operated the pages or what happened to information submitted by visitors.

The review examined an online offer that used Lidl’s name and branding to suggest that people could win e-scooters by answering questions. The page described the questions as a way to improve work in Lidl stores; after answering them, users were directed to another page asking for personal information. The review therefore concerns the specific offer described in the claim, rather than a general Lidl promotion. To assess whether the offer was genuinely from Lidl, the review identified the website address as “babyclubs.online” and compared it with the retailer’s official web presence. It also examined disclosures on the page: its small print named Bluereen LTD as the organizer, while the linked legal-notice field reportedly opened as a blank page. The review says the legal notice on the second page instead referred to a company in the United Kingdom. These details do not support the impression that Lidl was running the competition. The review also compared the page’s legal notice with the requirements it attributed to the German Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection. It reports that the notice did not provide the operator’s full name, address, and multiple contact options, and consequently describes it as non-compliant. This finding is about the site’s disclosed operator information; the supplied review does not report that Lidl confirmed or operated the offer.
