The review identifies the footage as a Lumière-company film showing two French women and children in Annam, then part of French Indochina. It says the film was made before Elizabeth II was born, so she could not be the woman in the video.
Video of Akshay Kumar crying at the sad state of an infant on life support
Publisher’s rating: FALSE
The claim concerns a viral edit that appears to show Akshay Kumar crying at the sight of an infant on life support. The review says the two clips were unrelated, rather than showing his reaction to the infant. It identifies Kumar’s footage as coming from an August 2022 appearance on SET India’s Superstar Singer Season 2, where he became emotional while watching a Raksha Bandhan message from his sister Alka. The review describes two checks: reverse image searches of screenshots from the infant footage, and searches using relevant keywords to trace Kumar’s clip. It says the reverse image search found several YouTube videos of the infant footage, some bearing a TikTok watermark, and that those videos had circulated since May 2019. Its keyword searches led it to the August 2022 programme footage and the explanation that Kumar was watching a message from his sister. The misleading impression comes from editing separate footage together. The review concludes that the infant footage did not show the event that made Kumar cry: his emotional response was to his sister’s message, while the infant video was already circulating years earlier.

Meghan Markle Paying Homage To Princess Diana At The Queen`s Funeral !! (PHOTO)
Publisher’s rating: False
The claim paired photos of Meghan Markle and Princess Diana, both wearing poppies, and presented Markle’s image as showing her paying tribute to Diana at Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral. The review investigated whether the image was from that funeral and whether the comparison supported the claim of a tribute there. The review says it used Google reverse image search to identify the photographs’ context. It reports that Markle’s photo was taken at the annual Remembrance Sunday memorial ceremony in London in November 2019, years before the Queen’s death. It identifies Diana’s similar-looking photograph as being from a Remembrance Sunday ceremony at the Cenotaph in 1991. Thus, the images show the two women at separate, earlier remembrance events—not Markle at the Queen’s funeral. The review adds that, after the Queen’s death, Markle and other royal women wore black dresses, but says it found no poppies on Markle’s dress in those instances. Its conclusion is that an old photograph was recirculated as if it showed her funeral attire. The evidence described addresses the image’s date and setting; it does not establish that Markle never paid tribute to Diana on other occasions.

Present image of the child who was featured on parle-G biscuit packet
Publisher’s rating: FALSE
The claim concerns a woman pictured in a social-media post, which said she was the child shown on Parle-G biscuit packets and was 1 year and 2 months old when the photograph was taken. FACTLY identifies the woman as Sudha Murthy, chairperson of the Infosys Foundation. Its review says it used reverse image search to identify her and found the photograph in The Hindu Images’ record of a book-launch event in Bengaluru on 11 February 2012. The review reports that an Infosys Foundation representative told AFP that the child on the wrapper was not Murthy. It also cites Economic Times reporting of a clarification from Mayank Shah, group product manager at Parle Products: the wrapper’s child image was an illustration created by Everest creative in the 1960s, not a depiction of a real person. These findings address both parts of the identification at issue: the woman in the circulated photograph is identified as Murthy, while the packaging image is described as an illustration rather than a portrait of a real child. On that evidence, the review concludes that the claim is false.

Myntra’s advertisement poster depicting the Draupadi Vastraharan scene in Mahabharata
Publisher’s rating: FALSE
The claim concerns a viral image presented as a Myntra advertisement depicting the Draupadi Vastraharan scene. The review says the image circulated during Myntra’s Big Fashion Festival, which ran from 23 September to 2 October 2022. The investigation identifies the image as an artwork showing Krishna searching for extra-long sarees on Myntra while Dushasana disrobes Draupadi—not as an advertisement made by Myntra. The review describes several checks: it notes a ScrollDroll watermark on the image, searched online for further information using relevant keywords, and found news articles reporting that ScrollDroll had published the artwork in February 2016. It also examined clarifications from both ScrollDroll and Myntra. ScrollDroll accepted responsibility for the artwork and said Myntra was not associated with it; Myntra said it had neither created nor endorsed the artwork and that a third party had posted it without its knowledge. The evidence therefore distinguishes the image’s use of Myntra’s name from Myntra’s involvement in creating or endorsing it. The review concludes that the artwork was not advertised or endorsed by Myntra. Its account identifies ScrollDroll as the creator and points to statements from both parties denying Myntra’s involvement.
