Bongbong” Marcos’ housing project in Deparo, Caloocan has 3,000 units, and the media has not reported about it

Publisher’s rating: False

Research from related reporting identifies the Deparo Residences in Caloocan as the housing project attended by President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos. The Philippine Information Agency report says Marcos and other officials led the awarding of housing there, and describes the development as an NHA flagship project under the Expanded 4PH program. This directly challenges the assertion that the project had not been reported on: the supplied report publicly describes it and its housing units. The report gives the project’s total as 648 housing units, not 3,000. It says those units are distributed across 12 buildings, with each unit measuring 24 square meters. On the evidence provided, the specific figure in the claim is inconsistent with the reported project total.

A imprensa da Rússia acaba de divulgar: O BRAZIL CHEGA AOS 23 MILHÕES DE MANIFESTANTES NAS RUAS

Publisher’s rating: Falso

The claim concerned a message circulating in Brazil that attributed a count of 23,898,988 protesters to Russian media and satellites, and said Jair Bolsonaro would sign an order for military intervention if the crowd reached the target again. The review also describes the message as claiming that Vladimir Putin would recognize the demonstrations as democratic. It notes that the forwarded text was circulating among WhatsApp groups of Bolsonaro supporters, while distinguishing the message’s assertions from established reporting.

Latest video shows Sambit Patra hosting a debate program on ‘NDTV’

Publisher’s rating: FALSE

The claim concerned a video circulating after Ravish Kumar resigned from NDTV: it purported to show BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra replacing him as host of NDTV’s “Prime Time” debate, with graphics suggesting a connection to the recent Gujarat elections. The review says its investigation found no report confirming that Patra had been selected to replace Kumar and traced the video’s visuals to an earlier India Today program instead. To check the clip’s provenance, the review reports using reverse image searches on screenshots from the circulating video. That search found a similar video posted by India Today journalist Rajdeep Sardesai on 04 June 2018. Sardesai described Patra as an India Today guest anchor performing a parody of a prime-time news debate. The review identifies the program as India Today’s weekend special “To The Point,” where Patra moderated as a guest anchor in 2018. The review also compares the circulating edit with the extended version published by India Today on 03 June 2018. It says the original did not contain the Gujarat-election graphics seen in the circulating version, and reports that Patra told AFP the video had been altered and shared with a false claim. Taken together, the review’s evidence identifies the footage as an edited version of an older India Today parody, not a recent NDTV broadcast showing Patra replacing Kumar.
