Publisher’s rating: Het echtpaar werd niet gedwongen hun huis te verkopen. Ze kregen een brief waarin de gemeente om een bestemmingsplan vraagt voor leegstaand vastgoed. Die brief werd per ongeluk naar het echtpaar gestuurd, laat de gemeente dpa weten. Volgens hun verouderde gegevens stond het huis van het echtpaar nog leeg. Sinds de start van de huidige gemeenteraad in 2021, is nog geen enkel pand in de gemeente met een dwangbevel opgekocht.

Het beleid om bepaalde migranten op een ordelijke manier te verwelkomen, was openlijk aangekondigd en onlangs door de rechter goedgekeurd. Daarbij hebben de maatregelen volgens de rechter geleid tot een daling van het totaal aantal immigranten.
