Publisher’s rating: Mostly True

Publisher’s rating: Pants on Fire
Fact check: 300-year timeline for deportations extrapolated from unofficial data
Publisher’s rating: No flights have yet taken off to forcibly take any migrants or asylum seekers from the UK to Rwanda, so there are no “regular” statistics by which to make a judgment on how long it would take for the policy to tackle any number. Sir Keir has based on his claim on a number of mathematical assumptions which have not been verified by the Home Office.
Fact check: Hotel accommodation for asylum seekers aims to be temporary measure
Publisher’s rating: Many asylum seekers in the UK are accommodated in hotels because of the shortage of alternative housing. However, the Home Office says the use of hotels is a “short-term measure”, and asylum seekers usually lose access to accommodation support when their claim for asylum, and any subsequent appeal, is rejected.
Fact check: British citizens can stay in the EU for three months at a time
Publisher’s rating: What Mr Idle said was accurate, British citizens can now spend at most three months at a time in the European Union without a visa. But what Lord Frost said is also correct, Britons are allowed to spend two three-month periods in the EU over the course of a year.
U.K. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is paying people £75,000 to leave the U.K.
Publisher’s rating: False
Fact check: Small boat crossings have been made in the Mediterranean for decades
Publisher’s rating: Migrants have been travelling from Libya and other north African countries to Europe for decades. This was happening prior to the revolution and civil war which began in Libya in 2011
Within a year, 60,000 babies have been born in Rohingya camps in India.
Publisher’s rating: FALSE
The review says the 60,000-birth estimate referred to Rohingya camps in Bangladesh, not India. It reports that official information on births in Rohingya camps in India was unavailable.
Border crossings have created "flat-out economic warfare on African American and Hispanic American families and workers. These people are taking the jobs of African Americans, they’re taking the jobs of Hispanic Americans. ... Unions are being absolutely slaughtered."
Publisher’s rating: No Evidence
A proclamation by President Joe Biden to limit asylum eligibility "establishes an annual minimum of approximately 2 million illegal alien border crossers."
Publisher’s rating: False
On unaccompanied children who crossed the border, "88,000 children are missing under this administration. ... And unfortunately, many of those children are dead."
Publisher’s rating: Distorts the Facts
The review says the Landkreis Rotenburg denied paying the car dealership for the Ukrainian customer’s vehicle. Jobcenters can sometimes help fund a car when it is needed to take up or keep employment, but support is discretionary, subject to conditions, and available regardless of nationality.
Fact check: There will be no payment offered to British citizens to leave the UK
Publisher’s rating: This claims likely stems from a satirical social media account. The Prime Minister has not announced any such plans.
Fact check: Recent migrants account for a small proportion of the UK population
Publisher’s rating: Figures from the Office for National Statistics suggest this claim may be correct when solely looking at arrivals to the UK. However, this does not account for the large number of people leaving the country. Migration does not mean an extra person for every 29 already in the UK.
“(Channel crossings) were down last year by a third, they’re down over the last 12 months by a little less than that.”
Publisher’s rating: The number of people crossing the English Channel on small boats fell 35.7% between 2022 and 2023. In the last 12 months the number of people crossing fell 26.4%.
ایران رتبه اول پذیرش پناهنده در سال۲۰۲۳ است. فقط در یک سال معادل ۵درصد جمعیت کشور، پناهنده وارد شده.
Publisher’s rating: نادرست
“De cada 10 pessoas que moram em São Paulo, 6, se pudessem, iriam embora”
Publisher’s rating: Verdadeiro
Flights to deport migrants are about to take off
Publisher’s rating: The PA news agency has found no evidence that flights are scheduled to go to Rwanda, assuming that is what is meant in the advert. The Home Office said it was unable to comment on whether any flights had been scheduled.
Fact check: Labour has not been in charge of immigration policy since 2010
Publisher’s rating: The video discusses real statements made by Labour figures. However, it is not possible to say calls for a return to freedom of movement, or for every council in the country to take in more migrants, had any bearing on Government policy or have impacted the UK’s immigration system. Neither of these ideas have become policy since being proposed.
ONS projections show 10.3 million migrants could come to UK by 2036
Publisher’s rating: The Office for National Statistics (ONS) estimates that 10.3 million people will immigrate to the UK in the next 12 years. The 13.7 million figure of long-term immigration covered a 15-year period between mid-2021 and mid-2036. By the time of the election campaign, three years of immigration has already passed and the remaining total for the next 12 years is 10.3 million.
