Le premier cas de fraude électorale a été découvert à Bad Reichenhall, en Allemagne, où des citoyens ont reçu des bulletins de vote déjà remplis pour les élections européennes.

The pre-filled ballots were old ballots from the 2019 elections, mistakenly mixed with 2024 postal ballots after a municipal employee retrieved them to check their dimensions. The municipality said the mix-up was caused by human error and that the ballots were not distributed to influence the election.
