The video was shared as supposed evidence that “lost” ballots had been found after the US presidential election. The investigation identified the scene as a police response in Hebron, Kentucky, rather than a ballot-discovery operation. The Boone County Sheriff’s Office said the video showed two of its representatives removing bags from roadside bushes and rejected the suggestion that they were collecting discarded ballots. The office also confirmed to dpa that the viral clip showed this specific incident. The account provided a specific alternative explanation. On November 7, police were alerted to discarded packages; deputies found five bags that appeared to contain Amazon parcels, some torn or opened. An Amazon representative confirmed that the packages belonged to the company. The evidence cited therefore links the bags in the video to discarded delivery parcels, not election materials. The review also describes how it located the scene: it matched landmarks and the road layout visible in the clip with Google Street View imagery of Hebron. That location identification, together with the sheriff’s office’s confirmation of the exact video and its account of the recovered packages, addresses the claim about this particular footage. The source adds that Kentucky was not a closely contested state in the election and says no systematic fraud benefiting Joe Biden had been confirmed.
