Roberto Gualtieri argued that conservatives had used tax amnesties while his side pursued tax evasion. The review says the contrast is too broad: measures resembling tax amnesties had also been adopted by Italian governments led by the centre-left, although the current government had not indicated that it intended to introduce one and was emphasizing enforcement against evasion and fraud. The review supports that qualification with examples from successive governments. It identifies the 2016 Renzi government’s debt-settlement scheme, later extended by the Gentiloni government, as allowing delinquent taxpayers to settle eligible tax debts without additional penalties and late-payment interest. It also describes Renzi’s 2014 voluntary-disclosure measure as similar in nature to the Berlusconi government’s 2009 tax shield, while noting stricter criteria for holders of foreign capital. The review further lists three measures adopted by the Conte I government: the “saldo e stralcio,” “rottamazione ter” and a measure for small tax bills. It says these allowed some taxpayers to regularize their positions by paying less than the amount theoretically owed. The distinction therefore does not hold as a general account of past Italian governments, but the review also gives relevant context for Gualtieri’s description of the current government. It says he had opposed introducing amnesty measures in the 2020 budget and that the government planned to raise substantial revenue through measures against evasion and fraud. The review’s conclusion is qualified: past centre-left governments had adopted measures that could be defined as tax amnesties, while the current government was pursuing a different approach.

Medida Provisória do Bolsonaro, 905, publicada ontem altera a CLT. Reduz o adicional de periculosidade de 30% para 5%. Você vai receber 25% a menos do seu salário.
