Videonun Fransa’da dayak yiyen Türkleri gösterdiği iddiası
Publisher’s rating: Yanlış
The claim concerned a video presented as showing Turkish people being beaten in France. Doğrula reports that it took a screenshot from the video and used reverse-image search to trace similar footage to a TikTok account named @thedvrko. The account’s post, dated 27 October, was described as very similar to the video in the claim and labelled “fake fight.” The review also checked the account’s Instagram content. It says the same black sweatshirt bearing a school logo appeared there, and that a video posted on 26 October was shared with @campus.univers.cascades and thanked @dvrko. The review then found the claimed video among recent posts on the tagged account, whose profile described itself as the world’s “largest stunt school.” It reports that the school’s website characterized the institution as a professional training center for stunt techniques in film and entertainment, established in 2008. This provenance supports the review’s conclusion that the footage was staged rather than evidence of the claimed assault.

A recent video of a person who was caught by police while attempting to cheat in the UP government examination
Publisher’s rating: MISLEADING
The claim concerns a video presented as recent footage of someone caught trying to cheat in a Uttar Pradesh government examination. FACTLY’s review says the video shows police removing a wig fitted with Bluetooth equipment from a student’s head. Its conclusion is that this footage is old, not from the recent examinations implied by the post. To trace the video, the review reports conducting reverse-image searches on screenshots. It says those searches found frames in an India TV article dated 22 December 2021, which described a police aspirant caught wearing a Bluetooth-equipped wig while taking the UP Sub-Inspector examination. The review also cites December 2021 reporting by Jagran and says IPS officer Rupin Sharma tweeted the video on 21 December 2021, identifying it as footage of a UP police aspirant caught with such a wig during the 2021 examination. The review distinguishes this older video from separate, more recent reports of people caught cheating during the UPSSSC PET examination. Those reports do not make the video recent: the review’s account identifies the footage itself with the 2021 UP Sub-Inspector examination. Its finding is that the post presents old footage as if it showed a recent government examination.
The post presents footage of Israeli police forcefully arresting Jewish demonstrators as evidence that they were protesting violence against Palestinians. The review addresses this specific video and says it was shared online in connection with the Israel–Hamas conflict, while the footage itself shows ultraorthodox Jews being arrested. It distinguishes what the video depicts from the stated reason for the demonstration: the protesters were opposing compulsory military service, not protesting the treatment of Palestinians. The review traces the video to early June 2023. It reports that a journalist working for the Israeli news outlet All World News shared it on X on 5 June, describing it as a protest outside an Israeli army recruitment office in Jerusalem. The review identifies a recruitment office on Rashistraat and says the footage was filmed a few metres away. Its conclusion is that the video predates the current conflict and is not connected to it. The review also supplies context for why the location and protest matter: ultraorthodox opposition to military conscription is an established political issue, and the review notes that exemptions for ultraorthodox people already existed in some cases. Thus, the footage supports the fact that arrests occurred, but the review’s provenance and location evidence contradict the post’s explanation of what the demonstrators were protesting.
