Fact Crescendo Sri LankaPolitics & government

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake travelled to the North in a brand-new luxury vehicle.

Publisher’s rating: Misleading

Fact Crescendo reports that on January 16, the President travelled from Nagadeepa Temple to a kovil in the personal vehicle of Nagadeepa’s chief monk, who provided it for the journey. It says the vehicle in the circulated photographs belonged to the monk, not the President, and concludes that claims it was a newly imported vehicle used by the President were misleading.

衆議院選・神奈川15区の無効票1万1025票は異常?

Publisher’s rating: 根拠不明

The review confirms that Kanagawa District 15 had 11,025 invalid ballots, but says the count alone does not establish fraud or election trouble. The Kanagawa election commission reported no major counting problems or objections from observers, and the winning candidate led the runner-up by more than 100,000 votes.
