ひろゆき氏、生放送中のとんでも発言で日銀が提訴?

Publisher’s rating: 誤り

The claim concerns posts and an article alleging that entrepreneur Hiroyuki Nishimura made a startling remark during a live broadcast and was sued by the Bank of Japan. The investigation says such posts spread through X and YouTube promotions from around May 2025, and that the linked material was fabricated and directed readers toward a fake investment site. It also notes that some posts used the Mainichi Shimbun logo despite having no connection to the newspaper. The review checked the links attached to the posts. They led to a page presenting a story that the Bank of Japan had sued Nishimura over something he said on air. Although that page displayed the goo News logo and a Yomiuri Shimbun Online credit, the review found that its URL differed from the actual goo News site and that it was unrelated to it. The purported story described a conversation between Nishimura and political commentator Jiro Terashima, but the review points to unnatural, translation-like Japanese and an abrupt investment pitch as signs that the account was not credible. The review also identifies the image used in the story as recycled material: it came from a 2023 YouTube program featuring Terashima and Tadashi Yanai, not from a broadcast in which Nishimura made the alleged investment remarks. The source says the image was reused by replacing Yanai with Nishimura, and that the original program discussed world affairs and Japan’s direction rather than investment. These findings support the review’s conclusion that the article’s allegation was fabricated, rather than a genuine report of a lawsuit over a live-broadcast statement.
