The claim

When innocent Indians were killed in Pahalgam in a cowardly terror attack sponsored by Pakistan, the DMK and its alliance partners did not take to the streets to condemn the perpetrators and their sponsors. Yet yesterday, a protest unfolded in Chennai under full police protection, a privilege rarely extended to teachers, nurses, sanitation and anganwadi workers, government employees, or common people, who are routinely detained the moment they raise their voices in protest. For DMK, appeasement is always at the top of their priority list!
