Video showing a Bangladesh fans disappointment over Surya Kumar Yadav’s catch in the final over of the India vs South Africa T20 World Cup final 2024.
Original review summary
FACTLY says the video was online before the 29 June 2024 final, so it does not show disappointment over India’s win or Surya Kumar Yadav’s catch. Earlier posts suggested it showed reactions to Mahmudullah’s dismissal in Bangladesh’s match against South Africa, but FACTLY could not independently verify which match it depicts or whether the people shown are Bangladeshi.[S1]
Additional context
The review cites a post dated 16 June 2024 that described the footage as showing Bangladesh fans reacting to Mahmudullah’s shot against South Africa. [S1]
