Video of protesters in Nepal attacking security forces, who were seen defending themselves with riot shields in September 2025.

Original review summary

FACTLY reports that the video does not show protests in Nepal; it shows people throwing rocks and sticks at police in Medan, Indonesia, on 29 August 2025. The review says the shield lettering and a comparison with Google Street View support the Indonesian location.[S1]
