Video of Arjun Singh, Minister-in-Charge of the Department of Labour and Transport, Government of West Bengal, hoisting the BJP flag instead of the tricolour flag on 15 August 2026.

Original review summary

The review says the video was recorded on 6 July 2026 at a programme commemorating Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookerjee’s 125th birth anniversary, not at an Independence Day event. It also reports that the longer video shows the Indian national flag being hoisted after the BJP flag.[S1]
