Op 6 januari 2021 meldt een man op Facebook dat de bekende klokkenluider website WikiLeaks een hoop bestanden online heeft gedumpt (hier gearchiveerd). "Alles uit de e-mails van Hillary Clinton, McCain ' s is schuldig, schietpartij in Vegas gedaan door een FBI sluipschutter, Steve Jobs HIV-brief, PedoPodesta, Afghanistan, Syrië, Iran, Bilderberg, CIA-agenten gearresteerd voor verkrachting, WHO-pandemie", schrijft de man. Maar publiceerde WikiLeaks werkelijk op dat moment zo'n uitgebreide lijst?

Publisher’s rating: Neen, het gaat om een oude hoax die al een tijd op sociale media circuleert. Hoewel bepaalde bestanden - zoals de emails van Hillary Clinton - inderdaad op de website van WikiLeaks staan, gaat het niet om nieuwe info. Heel wat vermelde documenten, zoals de 'PedoPodesta' zijn puur complottistisch en onbestaande op de website van WikiLeaks.

« Depuis plus de 24 heures, la banque LCL est victime d’un énorme bug informatique », déplore une utilisatrice de Facebook à Genève. Elle conseille à ceux qui la suivent de ne plus faire confiance aux banques et de retirer l’argent qu’ils y ont déposé. « Des milliers de comptes en banque ont disparu. Les clients sont dans l’impossibilité de réaliser des opérations bancaires... La colère commence à gronder sur les réseaux sociaux. »

Publisher’s rating: Il s’agissait d’un « incident d'infrastructures » et donc d’accès à l’application et au site bancaire de LCL par les clients. L’incident a été réglé trois heures plus tard et n’a pas duré 24 heures, comme le prétend la publication. Aucun compte n'a disparu.

Facebook pages სექტა (Sect), მეხუთე რეიხი (Fifth Reich), რეალობა (Reality), მიხეილ უკრაინოლოგი (Mikheil Ukrainologi) and ანტილიბერალური დოქტრინა (Antiliberal Doctrine) as well as Facebook users გაბრიელ კამაევი (Gabriel Kamaevi), Oboladze Gia, Mindo Mandela and Nino Labartkava spread identical photos depicting Elene Khoshtaria, an opposition politician, holding a spray paint in her hand. Khoshtaria is standing in front of a police officer with a temporary wall erected behind the latter. The photo also depicts a microphone and a logo of pro-opposition Mtavari Arkhi TV.

Publisher’s rating: The image spread by Facebook pages and individual users is manipulative. It has been cut out from Mtavari Arkhi TV story, the original footage of which shows that Elene Khoshtaria is trying to spray-paint graffiti on the temporary wall with police officers trying to obstruct her. Khoshtaria’s paint sprayer is pointed directly at the wall, not at the police officer. The spread manipulation aims at discrediting the opposition politician.
