The claim concerns a video presented as showing Ronaldo crying for a Palestinian child whose Ronaldo shirt had been torn. Doğrula says the presentation combines three separate videos, which it examined individually. The clip of Ronaldo meeting a child came from reports in September 2023: Ronaldo met an Iranian child who had cried after being unable to see him when he visited Iran for a match. The review distinguishes that child from the Palestinian child in the torn-shirt footage. The claimed connection between Ronaldo and the Palestinian child is therefore not established by the footage’s provenance or the information the review found.
