Publisher’s rating: اتضح لأنير أن هذا الادعاء مضلل؛ حيث أرشدنا البحث العكسي عن الصورة باستخدام أداة البحث TinEye إلى حقيقة الصورة المرفقة مع الادعاء والتي تعود إلى سباح إثيوبي يدعى "روبيل كيروس هابتي" قد شارك في أولمبياد ريو دي جانيرو 2016م؛ كما قمنا بالتحقق من أسماء الرياضيين الليبيين واتضح أن اسم الرياضي المذكور في الادعاء وهو "محمد بكرة" يعود إلى رياضي يشارك في منافسات التجديف وليس السباحة. كما قادنا البحث بالكلمات المفتاحية للتحقق من قائمة البعثة الليبية المشاركة في أولمبياد باريس 2024 إلى الصفحة الرسمية للجنة الأولمبية الليبية والتي أوضحت في منشور بتاريخ 29 يوليو؛ أن ليبيا تشارك بعدد ستة لاعبين في خمس رياضات من بينها رياضيان في منافسات السباحة وهما: ملك مختار ويوسف أشرف وكلاهما يشاركان في منافسات السباحة لمسافة 100 متر فقط ولم تشارك ليبيا في منافسات مسافة 200 متر في الأولمبياد باريس 2024 م. بناء على ما سبق قرر فريق أنير تصنيف الادعاء على أنه زائف؛ لأنه يعتمد على معلومات غير حقيقية واستعان بصورة مضللة وقديمة تعود إلى سباح أثيوبي.
