Wie die Autorin dazu schreibt, sollte der Artikel über die Sharing Economy als Anstoss über eine Diskussion zum technologischen Fortschritt mit all seinen Vor- und Nachteilen dienen. Der Artikel erschien zum Jahrestreffen des Global Future Councils des WEF in Dubai im November 2016. Er hat mit der aktuellen Konferenz in Davos und den Zielen des WEF nichts zu tun.
