Die FDA, wie viele andere Gesundheitseinrichtungen in den USA und international bereits zuvor, hat sich dezidiert gegen die Verwendung von Ivermectin als Behandlung gegen Covid-19 ausgesprochen. Bei dem Einspruchsverfahren wurde lediglich eingestanden, dass sie es Ärzten nicht verbieten könne, Ivermectin als Covid-19 Medikament zu verschreiben.

The post described in the review claimed that a scientist named Mylo Canderian considered 95 percent of the world’s population “useless eaters,” had developed a graphene-oxide patent for use as a “hematological bioweapon,” and worked with the WHO and WEF. The review traces the post mainly to an English-language article on henrymakow.com dated July 22, 2021, which purported to recount a conversation with Canderian. That article attributed to him the claim that he developed the patent in 2015 and wanted to euthanize people he regarded as useless. These are allegations reported by the review, not established statements by a verified person. The investigation looked for evidence that the named person or the alleged invention existed. It reports that searches for scientific literature by or about Mylo Canderian or the alternative name Milos Iskanderianos found nothing, and that searches of the US Patent and Trademark Office, the European Patent Office, and Google Patents also produced no result. The review further checked details offered in the purported account: it says Geneva had no restaurant called “L’emince de veau,” and that the name refers to a veal dish; it also found no such chef as Gaston Sere de Rivieres. Those checks undermine the story’s purported personal details as well as its account of the patent. The review also examined claims attached to Canderian’s supposed online profile. It says the profile’s WEF eugenics strategist role and committee do not exist, and that the named company Rheinburgen Besieschtegen GmbH does not exist. It separately notes that claims of graphene oxide in COVID-19 vaccines are false, citing public ingredient information and an FDA statement on April 11, 2023. Taken together, the review found no substantiation for Canderian’s identity or the alleged patent and describes the central claims as false.

Declaração de uma advogada da agência em audiência judicial foi distorcida para levar à desinformação. Ao ser questionada sobre suposta interferência ilegal da FDA em proibir prescrição médica off-label, ela afirmou que a agência reconhece que os médicos têm autoridade para prescrever ivermectina para tratar a covid, o que não significa que o órgão passou a autorizar o seu uso no combate à doença. A prescrição off-label é o direito do médico de prescrever ao paciente um medicamento para uma finalidade diferente daquelas oficialmente aprovadas por órgãos regulatórios.
