The video concerns the November 2022 New York governor’s race between Kathy Hochul and Lee Zeldin. It shows Decision Desk HQ, a private company that reports election results, displaying identical figures across several districts. The review says the footage showed the site as it appeared at 20:33 on November 8, 2022, and notes that the figures prompted claims of fraud. The fact that the video showed a reporting error, however, does not establish that votes were manipulated. The review compared the video’s figures with other reported totals and with New York’s official election results. In the video, Decision Desk HQ displayed 6,606,899 votes counted, while the company later reported that only 68 percent—about four million votes—had been counted. The video’s repeated district result was 63.1 percent for Zeldin and 39.9 percent for Hochul, based on 54,375 votes, more than the number of registered voters in four of the districts shown. The review also says the official state breakdown showed that no county ultimately had identical results. An archived State Board of Elections tally, updated about an hour after the video, showed a different result and far fewer counted votes. The review explains that Decision Desk HQ is not the official source for New York election results and uses predictive software to report results quickly. It concludes that the displayed figures were erroneous, but says their cause was unknown; the discrepancy itself was not evidence of election fraud.

Video showing the recent 2022 election results of Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh

Publisher’s rating: MISLEADING

The review examines two separate videos being circulated as showing recent 2022 election results: one about Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh, and another about Madhya Pradesh. It does not describe one video covering all three states. The review says the Gujarat and Himachal video was an older News18 India clip and that the Madhya Pradesh video showed results from an earlier Assembly election.
