Canadian tourism to Florida has declined by 80%.

Publisher’s rating: Mostly False

Related reporting offers narrower figures, not evidence of an 80% decline across Florida: one report says Canadian visitors made up 2.1% of visitors to Pinellas County in 2025, compared with 3% the previous fiscal year. Another reports that Canadian visits to the United States fell 25% in August 2025 year over year, but that figure is national, not Florida-specific.

財務省がスイスの銀行に13京円を隠し持っている?

Publisher’s rating: 誤り

The claim under review is that Japan’s Ministry of Finance has hidden 13 quadrillion yen in Swiss banks. The investigation says videos making this allegation spread on YouTube and TikTok from March 2025. Many claimed that the alleged stash was exposed at demonstrations calling for the Ministry’s dissolution; some added claims about a former prime minister’s secretary or CIA management of the assets. To assess the scale of the allegation, the review compared it with figures attributed to Swiss and Japanese public sources. It reports that Swiss banks managed 7.847 trillion francs in assets in 2022, about 1,375 trillion yen at the exchange rate used on May 2, 2025—roughly one-hundredth of the alleged sum. The review also says Japan’s 2025 annual budget was about 115 trillion yen, making the alleged stash more than a thousand times that amount. The review adds two further comparisons: Japan’s cumulative tax revenue from 1987 through 2025 was about 2,047 trillion yen, and the country’s entire economic asset stock in 2023 was about 13,287.6 trillion yen. These figures are not evidence tracing a particular account or proving who owns Swiss-bank assets; they are comparisons the review uses to assess whether the claimed amount is plausible. Its stated conclusion rests on the enormous scale of the allegation relative to the published figures.
