"A disproportionate number of people that earn over [£150,000] actually work in our public sector anyway, so they aren't going anywhere."
Publisher’s rating: Based on the figures, a "disproportionate" number would imply more than 3,150 people earning more than £150,000 worked in the public sector. But we cannot find a breakdown of how many top earners work in the public or private sector.

Worth of mobile handsets produced (Then 18,992 crore, Now 1.32 lakh crore).
Publisher’s rating: PARTLY TRUE
FACTLY checked a government infographic’s claim that the value of mobile handsets produced rose from 18,992 crore to 1.32 lakh crore. The review focused on the value attributed to production in 2013–14 and 2017–18, and cited the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology’s 2017–18 annual report for the later figure. That report put handset production at approximately 1,32,000 crore in 2017–18. FACTLY found the earlier comparison figure was not supported: it reported the value for 2013–14 as 26,650 crore, rather than approximately 18,990 crore. Thus, the review accepted the stated 2017–18 value but identified an incorrect baseline in the infographic. The review’s conclusion turns on comparing the two endpoints, not disputing that production value increased. Because the “then” value was wrong while the “now” value was supported by the cited ministry report, FACTLY concluded that the overall comparison was only partly accurate.
