A video shared as showing a February 26, 2024, flood in Dubai was actually footage of the 2011 tsunami in Sendai, Japan. The review says reverse-image searching found the same video uploaded by Euronews in 2012.

The review says the video had been circulating since December 31, 2023, nearly two months before the Smokehouse Creek Fire began on February 26, 2024, so it could not show the cause of that fire. It adds that the beam appears digitally added and describes heat, dry conditions, strong winds, and a possible electrical-line spark as factors in the fire.
The video shows the green laser beam caused the Texas wildfire.
