The claim concerns a viral clip in which Adele sings while holding a white, red and green piece of fabric during a concert. The video was presented online as showing her holding a Palestinian flag. The investigation examined that same scene, rather than a different Adele performance: it reports that the clip shows her singing and accepting gifts from audience members while the fabric is under her arm. To identify what the fabric depicted, the investigators used a screenshot for a reverse-image search, which led to a TikTok post dated October 2, 2023; they also found the footage had appeared on YouTube the previous day. They located three longer or differently angled TikTok videos of the same scene. In those versions, a green, branch-like image is visible on the fabric’s white section, along with a brown-and-gold design. Those details are the central visual evidence: the investigation says they resemble the Mexican flag’s emblem, whereas the Palestinian flag has no symbol on its white stripe. The report therefore concludes that the fabric shown in this video was not a Palestinian flag and that the online claim about this moment is unfounded. The longer versions matter because the shorter viral clip did not show the fabric’s design clearly enough to distinguish it. The investigation places the scene at Adele’s September 30, 2023 concert at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! reached a total of 9.1 million viewers for its opening show for 2023.

Publisher’s rating: False: The ratings cited in the claim appear to refer to the 2022 figures – the first episode of the 2023 series on November 19 actually had two million fewer viewers than the previous year, with official overnight ratings putting the programme’s peak audience at 7.8 million. While the figure for the peak overnight audience of 10.3 million is inaccurate, ITV confirmed the official figure – 7.8 million – was still the broadcaster’s highest of the year to date. But there was no ratings boost due to Mr Farage’s appearance.

Publisher’s rating: 誤り

A post circulated on November 10, 2023, claiming that three actors had announced support for Reiwa Shinsengumi. Their representatives and the party denied the statements, and the site operator said its articles had been automatically generated by AI; the review therefore found the claim unsupported.

The video of Bella Hadid saying she supported Israel was altered footage from a 2016 speech at a Global Lyme Alliance event. The review reports that the original footage shows different speech content and that the circulating video’s audio and mouth movements had been manipulated.

The claim concerns an image circulating online that presents the statement “Bald ist das Ende und sie wissen es, deshalb wollen sie alles zerstören, was ihnen im Weg steht” as a post by actor Mel Gibson about Israel. The investigation found no basis for attributing the post to him: Gibson’s agent, Alan Nierob, told dpa that the post was not Gibson’s and that the actor had no social-media accounts. The review also found no sign that the Facebook pages it examined were official Gibson accounts, and no matching post on those pages.
