The claim concerns a clip shared on Facebook that purportedly shows child or organ trafficking being arranged through TikTok in Ukraine. The review traced the livestream’s source and examined the people and places identifiable in the footage. It reports that the video’s German-language narrator incorrectly presented a Ukrainian TikTok user as the livestream’s creator: she had reposted the material to draw attention to it and said she wanted authorities to see it. The investigation instead traced the stream to a Russian woman living in the United States for more than 20 years. The review describes using image and video comparisons and searches for digital traces to identify the host. It also examined clues within the recording. The host’s Ukrainian-postage-stamp shirt provides an indication that the stream occurred after the stamp was released in late April 2022, but the review says the stream itself was no longer available on her TikTok channel. A participant’s Ukrainian flag avatar is another Ukraine-related detail; the other participants could not be identified, and the conversation was in Russian. The discussion does not establish a Ukrainian location. The review says the only place mentioned is Irkutsk, a Russian city near Lake Baikal and far from Ukraine, in a reference to a purported 13-year-old. It therefore finds no concrete evidence linking the stream participants to Ukraine, while leaving open that the participants might have been discussing real trafficking plans. A second clip in the post is from a Fox News segment about human trafficking and illegal immigration at the US–Mexico border, not evidence about Ukraine.
