Related research from OpIndia discusses the 2002 Godhra train burning and reports that 59 Hindu pilgrims were killed. It says 31 people were convicted by the trial court in 2011, with the convictions affirmed by the Gujarat High Court in October 2017.

Publisher’s rating: Das Video macht schon mindestens seit 2015 die Runde. Es ist also viel älter als die genannten Angriffe im Roten Meer. Zudem war die Rubymar auch Tage nach dem Beschuss noch schwimmfähig.

The video does not show the Rubymar sinking: the footage had been online since 2015, years before the February 2024 attacks. The Rubymar remained afloat for days after the attack, though it was taking on water.

Publisher’s rating: Cette vidéo circule en ligne depuis 2015 au moins. Elle précède donc l'attaque revendiquée par les Houthis contre le Rubymar, en février 2024. En outre, il n'a pas été confirmé que le Rubymar ait bel et bien coulé.

The video is not recent: it was already circulating on YouTube in 2015, well before the Houthi attack on the Rubymar. The review says the footage does not show the Rubymar; it notes that the ship’s sinking had not been confirmed.

The video does not show the Rubymar: it shows the Stellar Banner being deliberately sunk off Brazil. The same footage appeared on YouTube on June 12, 2020, before the Rubymar attack.
