The claim

This striking rock formation in the shape of a giant human footprint is located in Parashurama Park near the coastal village of Apsarakonda, Karnataka, India. Although it may appear to be a natural feature carved into volcanic rock, it was actually man-made, likely created to attract tourists and enhance the area's mythical atmosphere. Known as "Bhima’s Footprint," it is linked to the legend of one of the Pandava brothers from the great Indian epic Mahabharata. Despite its artificial origin, the site continues to captivate visitors by blending local folklore with visual spectacle.
