The claim
The visuals show massive fire accidents at the 2025 Prayagraj Mahakumbh.
Original review summary
The review says the viral videos do not show fires at the 2025 Prayagraj Mahakumbh. It identifies one as footage of a Cairo suburb fire caused by a crude oil pipeline rupture in July 2020, and the other as a Baghdad cold-storage warehouse fire in October 2024.[S1]
Additional context
The review notes that two separate fires did occur at the Mahakumbh: one at the ISKCON tent camp on 07 February 2025 and another in a ‘Kalpvasi’ tent on 09 February 2025. [S1]
