The claim
The viral video shows an Iranian attack on an Israeli building.
Original review summary
The review identifies the footage as an Israeli airstrike on Gaza’s Al-Shorouk Tower in May 2021, not an Iranian attack on a building in Israel. It says the video predates the recent Iran-Israel conflict and that a side-by-side comparison matched the building to the tower.[S1]
Additional context
The review says the footage was posted on Instagram on 12 May 2021 and reports that the tower was destroyed during Israel’s offensive in Gaza that month. [S1]
