The viral video of a Hindu saint, purportedly a Siddha, lying on burning wood unharmed and taking a ‘fire bath’ is from the Haridwar Maha Kumbh 2025 and was reported by BBC.

Original review summary

The review identifies the clip as part of the documentary “The Fire Yogi,” which originally aired in 2011 and features Rambahu Swami performing a fire ritual in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu. It says the video is unrelated to the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj and was not reported by the BBC.[S1]
