Original review summary
FACTLY reports that the video shows the January 2026 funeral of Shia cleric Sayyed Hadi al-Sistani in Karbala, not Khamenei’s funeral. It says the same visuals had been posted on January 19, 2026, before Khamenei’s death. [S1][S1]
