The claim
The video shows Bangladeshi migrants crossing the border after the BJP’s victory in the 2026 West Bengal Assembly elections.
Original review summary
The video was already online in November 2025, before the West Bengal election schedule was announced, and shows people attending a Kali idol immersion ceremony in Fankatala village—not Bangladeshi migrants crossing the border after the election. The original review says local police confirmed the people were heading to watch the ceremony. [S1][S1]
