The claim
The video shows 41 Nepali citizens converting to Islam following the August 2026 flash floods.
Original review summary
FACTLY reports that the video was online by 11 June 2023, before the 26 August 2026 floods, so it does not show a conversion following those floods. The review says the footage appears to have been filmed in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, but it could not independently verify the people’s identities or nationalities.[S1]
Additional context
The review says photos of the mosque’s interior matched the video’s visuals and identifies the location as Riyadh. [S1]
