The claim
The photos show Yogi Adityanath attending the wedding of BJP General Secretary Ram Lal’s niece, who married a Muslim man, Faizan Karim.
Original review summary
The review says the viral photo shows Yogi Adityanath at the wedding of Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar’s son, not at Ram Lal’s niece’s wedding. It also says Faizan Karim did marry Ram Lal’s niece in 2019, but Adityanath did not attend that event.[S1]
Additional context
The review links the viral photo to reports from December 2025 about the wedding of Santosh Kumar Gangwar’s son, Apoorva Gangwar, and says Yogi Adityanath attended the ceremony in Bareilly. [S1]
