Several right-wing Facebook groups and Twitter users on the basis of several TV reports are claiming that Mr Gandhi has taken the decision because the number of Muslims in Wayanad is much higher than the Hindus. However, Congress supporters have defended the claims by using an alleged data of Wayanad district claiming that Hindus are in majority in Wayanad and not Muslims or Christians. However, we found the claims to be misleading.
