Pakistan’s ranking in the Global Food Security Index (GFSI) has improved by three places during the first three years of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) government.

Pakistan’s GFSI ranking improved by just one place between 2016 and 2021, contrary to posts now circulating on social media. It has, however, worsened over the last two years.
