The claim
A video shows an out-of-control Emirates flight engulfed in flames, crashing onto a highway.
Original review summary
The review says the video is a simulation from a game, not a real Emirates crash. It reports that the video was posted by a TikTok user who frequently uploads GTA 5 game videos, and that no reports of an Emirates flight crashing on a highway were found.[S1]
Additional context
The review says the TikTok video was posted on 03 October 2024, before the Texas aircraft crash it discusses. [S1]
The review separately notes that a Piper PA-31A aircraft crashed along a highway service road in Victoria, Texas, on 12 December 2024, but says that incident was unrelated to the viral video. [S1]
