The claim
دبابات إسرائيلية تتوغل في الجنوب السوري
Original review summary
The review found that the circulating video matched footage published on 23 February 2025 showing Israeli tanks near Jenin refugee camp in Palestine, not southern Syria. It says the match was confirmed by people and a sign visible in both videos. [S1][S1]
Additional context
Separately, the review reports that Syria’s UN ambassador referred to Israeli incursions in Jabal al-Sheikh, Quneitra, and surrounding areas; that does not identify the circulating tank video as footage from Syria. [S1]
